The Library of Things contains a variety of unique items such as WiFi hotspots, a slide digitizer, a portable table and benches, a projector, and more. See everything we have to offer in the collection, located across from the main desk. Have an idea for something we should add to the Library of Things? Let us know - drop your suggestion in the box right next to our display. Show off your talent! Applications for the 2026 Community Art Show, presented in partnership with Arts Guild of Vermilion, are now available. Residents of Vermilion, Huron, Berlin Heights, Birmingham, and Wakeman age 18 and up are invited to enter original pieces into the show, which will be on display at the Library throughout the month of April. A public reception will be held on Thursday, April 9th at 6PM where the winners will be announced. Visit ritterpubliclibrary. org/artshow to learn more and apply. Art show returns The Unsinkable Ship Saturday, April 18th at 12PM Taste history at this interactive experience exploring life on the Titanic. Upon arrival at the newlyrenovated Harbourtown Hall, you will be assigned to one of 3 classes, just as passengers were on the Titanic. Your class designation will determine the lunch you receive, catered by local chef Jeremy Crawford of the Pavilion Grill. Following the meal, “The Unsinkable Molly Brown”, portrayed by the Ohio-based organization Women in History, will bring history to life with a captivating performance. This event is part of our new series for 2026, Foundation Features, sponsored the Ritter Public Library Foundation.
