Unearth Our Story: Complete the Community Local History Scavenger Hunt
Explore Vermilion and its local history this summer! Travel solo or grab some friends to join you as you walk around town and discover our historic locations.
- Start here at Ritter Public Library to grab a map or follow the attached here.
- At each stop, take a selfie or photo of the location! Collect all of your photos together for later.
Just a friendly reminder, two of our locations are Captains' homes and are currently private property, so when taking pictures make sure to stay in public areas. - Once finished: post to social media and tag us @ritterpubliclibrary (Facebook) or @rittervermilion (Instagram). If you don't use social media, that is okay - you don't have to post.
- When you have finished your hunt, come see us at the main desk to show us your fun journey and get your completion code for Adult Summer Reading.
